Our nurses, therapists, equipment specialists and nurse’s aides will contribute to your recovery every step of the way, working closely with your doctors and your family.
AAA Nursing Services: In home visits by skilled nurses & therapists
Licensed nurses will educate the patient and family about proper nutrition, pain management, pre and post surgical care, and will establish a medication regimen. You can also count on the nurse to assist with post chemo/radiation therapy support.
Physical therapists will conduct a home safety inspection to recommend appropriate safety equipment and strengthening exercises.
Occupational therapists will assist with upper body strengthening, assess swallowing skills and recommend devices to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s).
Medical Social Workers will assist with accessing community resources and address any counseling needs.
AAA Nursing Services: Individualized one to one in-home care
Our nurse’s aides will motivate and encourage:
- Management of Daily Activities at onset of fatigue to best conserve energy
- Meal preparation to increase energy levels through proper nutrition

- Compliance with physical therapy and exercise activities
- Completion of painful tasks (driving, bathing, dressing, housekeeping, etc.)
- Meal preparation and diet modification to prevent weight gain (which stresses joints)
- Applying ice packs or heating pads to relieve localized pain
- Encouraging bed rest when appropriate to reduce pain and joint inflammation
- Frequent repositioning to reduce pain and stiffness
- Apply proper transferring techniques to prevent further joint damage

Licensed nurses will educate you and your family members about the factors leading to Heart Disease, prevention measures ad the importance of early detection; they will monitor medications and establish a medication regime; and can provide post-surgical in-home care.
Medical Social Workers evaluate community resource needs, coordinate services and provide counseling for the patient and family.
Physical therapists will conduct a home safety inspection to recommend adaptive medical equipment to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), which include bathing, dressing, ambulation, eating, transferring and toileting. An individualized custom exercise program will be designed to help build strength following cardiac surgery.

AAA Home Health Services: Visiting skilled nurses & therapists
Licensed nurses will provide information about the management of Diabetes and proper nutrition. They will monitor medications and train family members how to correctly use a glucometer to test blood sugar levels and how to administer insulin. They will educate about proper foot and skin care to enhance blood circulation to prevent skin breakdown. They will also monitor and treat any chronic wounds.
AAA Nursing Care: One-on-one in-home attendant care
In addition to providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL),
